The dining room set, a family heirloom, has seen 80 plus Thanksgiving Dinners and intense Florida heat and humidity which caused both pedestals which support the branching legs, to split in half.

We had kindling for the fire place but did not have a table for Thanksgiving dinner. A Google search returned many reupholsters and the Woodsmith Website, highly rated in Home Advisor. We needed a wood furniture craftsman.

The day after I called James, he pickup up the pieces and returned with the table four days later. Whereupon, my wife implored him the fix the gash in the cabinet and leave the extra paint for minor touchups. Aside from Covid, this Thanksgiving will be the same in spirit as the eighty others, thanks to James.

James and his employees are very detail-oriented and did a beautiful job on my 50-year-old oak dining table and 6 chairs! It now looks as it did when my husband and I purchased it so many years ago. It is now the gorgeous light oak that it was way back then. The feet on the table are lion claws and one on the middle toes was missing. James carved a new toe and it is perfect!
I have an old oak icebox that I am sure is older than the dining set and I would like him to do that next. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The cane had lost quite a bit of its color and the frames needed touching up. I could not be happier with the results! The chairs look brand new and the color match was spot on. Mr. Ferrigno picked up my dining room table and chairs and I honestly was not expecting much as they were in terrible shape but I wanted to keep them for sentimental reasons. The price was reasonable and he worked with me to choose stains and finishes. He was communicative throughout the process, sending photos and updates and brought the "like new" dining room set before promised. It looks like a brand new set! He even replaced hardware and gave me the old hardware!. I can't say enough about James. He was a pleasure to work with and would definitely go back to him should I find a "diamond in the rough".

James Ferrigno was super easy to work with. I was skeptical about what I would get for the not so inexpensive price that he quoted so I decided to "try him out" with just one piece at first. All I can say is WOW! He refinished my king size headboard to perfection. I immediately had him take the rest of my bedroom set to refinish. If you're in a hurry, he may not be the man for you - BUT - if you're more interested in quality, go no further!

Comments: James did a terrific job refinishing our heavily carved mahogany front doors that were discolored, cracked and all together in bad shape. He shaved off part of the bottom so they open and close properly, fixed the cracks with filler, stripped off the old stain (really difficult to do with all of the carved images) and then restained it 5 times, and covered it with a urethane finish. He really brought the doors back to life. He also recommended a brass refinisher who made the handles look like new again. Thanks, James!
